Medico-Legal Experience

Dr Anthony Hammond is a Rheumatologist who has been an Expert Witness since 2016. He has Bond Solon and CUBS training and is instructed by both Claimants and Defendants in clinical negligence cases. 

Dr Hammond has extensive experience with cases associated with:

  • Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • SLE, Vasculitis and Immune diseases
  • AS, Spondylarthropathy and Psoriatic Arthritis
  • Osteoarthritis and Degenerative Joint disease
  • Spinal Pain: cervical, lumbar, slipped disc, sciatica, and complex pain
  • RTA and spinal pain
  • Chronic Pain and Fibromyalgia
  • Industrial injury such as repetitive strain

Dr Hammond’s appointment availability is 2-4 weeks and has a report turnaround time of 4-6 weeks. 

Clinical Experience

Dr Anthony Hammond has been a Consultant since 1980 and is currently a Consultant at The London Clinic and The London Spine Clinic. He specialises in rheumatoid arthritis, SLE, osteoarthritis, gout, spondylarthropathy, back pain, slipped disc, sciatica, neck pain, arm pain, whiplash, chronic pain and fibromyalgia.

Dr Hammond has a subspecialty interest in interventional spinal pain management, as such he is a member of the International Spinal Intervention Society where he is active in teaching and development as a European Instructor.
