Mr Budd was born in 1980 qualifying from the University of Birmingham with overall Honours in 2004.

He obtained the FRCS(Orth) diploma in 2013 while undertaking speciality training in Cambridge.

Spinal Surgery

Mr Budd is a full-time Consultant Spinal Surgeon with Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust.  He is particularly interested in the degenerative spine including cervical, thoracic and lumbarsacral pathology. He is fully registered with the General Medical Council and on the Specialist Register for Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery.

He holds membership of the:

  • North American Spine Society
  • Royal College of Surgeons of England
