Pain Management

Dr Edwards played a fundamental role in developing the Chronic Pain Service at the Northern General Hospital. He sits on several Boards in Pain related organisations and provides Clinical guidance to PCT’s, GP Consortia and Musculoskeletal Services.

Anaesthesia

Dr Edwards has wide experience in all types of anaesthesia. He was key in setting up the highly successful Vascular Anaesthetic Society. Being the Chairman of the Society for its first 6 years.

Medico Legal

Dr Edwards has been preparing Medical Reports specialising in Musculoskeletal Conditions and Pain Management since January 2000 and currently prepares an average of twenty reports per month. Dr Edwards attends court if and when required. Dr Edwards has also been involved with Medical Negligence cases in both Pain Management and Anaesthesia.

Publications

Dr Edwards has over 30 publications in Anaesthesia and Pain Management and has prepared multiple abstracts and written chapters in 7 text books.
