Mr Kellerman has been active in the field of cranial and spinal surgery throughout his NHS and private career. He has investigated and operated on all areas of the brain, the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine relating to trauma, tumour, infection and degenerative disease. He has experience in congenital and acquired cranial and spinal defects. Whilst an NHS consultant he operated on all aspects of intracranial disease and trauma which included vascular, tumour, infection and congenital issues.
Mr Kellerman has been active in the field of medico-legal work since 1996, and currently produces about 50 to 60 medical reports per year with a current ratio of 60% Claimant, 40% Defendant.
Mr Kellerman regularly attends medico-legal conferences in person and on the telephone with legal teams for Defendants and Claimants. He gave expert evidence in Court on two occasions in 2017. In previous years he has on average given evidence in Court once per year.
