Professor Graeme Yorston is a consultant forensic neuropsychiatrist who has been an expert witness since 2006. He has attained the Bond Solon Expert Witness certificate and is instructed on complex neuropsychiatric, general psychiatric and criminal cases by defendants and claimants.
Complex Neuropsychiatric Cases: including traumatic brain injury, military PTSD and neuro-degenerative disorders addressing condition and prognosis, causation, capacity and clinical negligence.
General Psychiatry: including but not restricted to, personal, injury, chronic pain, employment, depression, anxiety and phobias.
Criminal Cases: including fitness to plead and stand trial, ability to form intent, automatism and diminished responsibility. Graeme has given evidence in the criminal courts on many occasions.
Graeme’s appointment availability is around 3-5 weeks and has a report turnaround time of 4-6 weeks.
